There is no try, only do...

We did it. The Boyfriend and I signed up for the Sacramento Cow Town Half Marathon! Woohoo! I've set myself on a path now. The Boyfriend's cousin Dango and his lovely GF and running with us as well, which is so nice and I'm really happy they are going to be there. It's a motivator for me too, because Dango's GF is a straight up real marathon runner; she qualified for the Boston Marathon with a 3:20 time, (I think... oh man I hope that's right), so the Cow Town is going to be just a light workout for her while my body will be performing a Herculean feat of endurance. I have no doubt I will get through it, I just hope I don't barf. Or pass out. Or pull a Paula. (Look it up.)

Anyway, I hope that as my training progresses, our group, (which is getting HUGE, btw), can hopefully reference this blog for information, inspiration, or maybe to tell me to get my ass in gear and stop, oh, say, eating and entire half price Mountain mike pizza. Just a hypothetical. Whatev.

So SIGN UP, PEOPLE!! Here's what you need to know:
